Md. Ashakur Rahman Khan, CMT, is the owner of Market Technologies Bangladesh which deals with the tools associated with Market Intelligence. Previously he led the Portfolio Management Service at Riverstone Capital Ltd. For more than a decade, Mr. Rahman has been active in the Capital Market of Bangladesh and worked for institutions like Brac EPL investments and Alliance Capital Asset Management Ltd. Along with institutional in-house training, he has conducted many training sessions on “Technical Analysis” arranged by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) , Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM), Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), Pearl Institute of Capital Market (PIFM), etc. In 2011, his in depth understanding and evaluation techniques of candlestick charting has been compiled in a Technical Analysis Book captioned “The Candlestick Code”. Besides, he is a regular contributor to the article “Portfolio” published by Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
